The cliffhangers are illegal. I finished the first season in one sitting because I literally couldn't stop. The chemistry between Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang is top-tier, and the soundtrack? Absolute fire.
!The way they handle the "no changing the past" rule is heartbreaking. When Cheng Xiaoshi realizes that no matter what he does in the photo, some tragedies are just fixed points in time... that scene with the earthquake request actually destroyed me. And don't even get me started on the finale cliffhanger with Emma. I was staring at my screen in silence for 5 minutes straight.!
Seriously, give it the 3-episode rule. You won't regret it.
